XLAM Technical Data and Documentation
XLAM panels are prefabricated panels with a variable thickness (57 to 297 mm). The panels can have from 3 to 9 layers for a maximum length of 13.5 meters and a width of up to 3.5 meters. The layers are composed by wooden slats and are crossed and glued using only formaldehyde-free glue.
XLAM panels are used in the construction of bearing structures of buildings, such as walls and attics. XLAM DOLOMITI manufactures for specific project and supplies the shaped, numbered and ready-to-assemble panels directly to the work site.
XLAM panels are innovative and resilient construction materials, characterized by high strength, flexibility and robustness. They have the advantage of combining the bearing property of lamellar wood with the two-dimensionality and strength of the plywood.
As a result, the structures have strong environmental sustainability features expressed in terms of energy saving, seismic resistance and fire resistance.
